Literature Text

You should not chase white rabbits dear Alice
For you may slip and fall;
And as you pass through the looking glass
To the world you seem quite small.
Into the land of wonder you go
Following paths you do not know.

Meet you the March Hare and the Cheshire Cat?
Have you some tea with the mad man of hats?

All this dear Alice may seem well and good,
Until meet you the Jabberwock in the dark wood.

This story, dear Alice, to you may seem trite
Until off with your head; commands the queen some dreadful night.
Don't know you dear Alice this land dwells in your mind?
In chasing white rabbits you leave me behind.

Wake up dear Alice you have traveled quite far,
Off with the walrus and his carpenter.

Come foolish Alice its time for tea;
If you were meant to chase rabbits than a rabbit I'd be.
I have been wanting to submit this for a long time but I wrote it on the back of my homework one day and kept misplacing it. It is left over from my Lewis Carroll phase back when all roads lead to Alice. Anyway I hope you like it, it is one of my favorites second only to Cupid's Arrow.
